Maren Pannemann

Dr. Maren Pannemann is working as advisor research funding at IXA office UvA-HvA.

Maren studied Linguistics, German, Dutch and Sociology at the Carl-von-Ossietzky University Oldenburg (Germany), University College London and Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. In 2007 she got her PhD in Linguistics at the UvA. She worked as lecturer at the UvA and the HvA and as postdoc at the English Department of the Radboud University Nijmegen. Furthermore she worked as text editor for a Publishing Company in Amsterdam. Since 2009 Maren works as advisor research funding at the UvA.

On faculty and institute level, Maren advises strategically on matters about research funding, such as e.g. H2020. She is a member of the National Advisory Board for Marie Skłodowska Curie grants.
Her focus at UvA are the Humanities.

Areas of expertise: advising researchers, research groups, institutes and international consortia in finding the right grant and preparing a successful research proposal. Her expertise covers competitive European (H2020: ERC, Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions, Collaborative Projects) and national grants (NWO VENI-VIDI-VICI, Free Competition).
