Masterclass mentoring startups

This masterclass of 2 half-days is targeted at mentors or coaches of startup founders. The goal of this masterclass is to help startup mentors or coaches to develop their mentoring and coaching skills. We specifically focus on startup mentoring and coaching in the context of (both public and private) entrepreneurship programs including incubators or accelerators.

Most startup mentors or coaches bring a wealth of experience from being an entrepreneur or industry expert. Yet many startup mentors or coaches wish to learn more about best practices and the scientific basis of startup coaching and mentoring. Besides the participant, this masterclass will benefit all stakeholders of entrepreneurship programs.

The topics that will be dealt with are:

  1. Functions and roles of the mentor and coach
  2. Effective mentoring and coaching skills
  3. Mentoring startups in incubators or accelerators.

These topics will be addressed in two half-day meetings from 16:00 to 21:00. The 2nd meeting is scheduled about 10-12 weeks after the 1st. This enables participants to put into practice what they have learned in the 1st meeting. These experiences will be shared in the 2nd meeting that will feature an experienced startup mentor or coach.

It is also possible to apply for an extended package that includes four 1.5-hour intervision sessions with coaches from ‘Open en Eerlijk Coaching’. The additional costs are € 950 per group of maximum 6 participants (for four 1.5-hour sessions) or € 150 per hour based on 1-on-1 coaching. These costs are excluding 21% VAT.
