KTO Masterclass ’Through the eyes of…’

17 Oct '19

Perspectives from the ecosystem for cooperation with the KTO; how do we do it in the eyes of a researcher, the business community, the investor and the knowledge institutions. And what can we learn from that?

All parties (within the Quadruple Helix) have a role in creating impact from knowledge. In practice, however, it appears to be difficult to involve companies in this and to build up a good and sustainable relationship.

Within this masterclass we take a look from the perspectives of various parties: what are their considerations to get in and what is the role of the KTO in this.

What do companies and large multinationals look at and how do you get on their radar? Why do they choose cooperation or not, what can a KTO do and what is your role as a BD employee or legal in a partnership? A lot is required of a BD employee and he has to represent different interests: researchers’ interests, the interests of the knowledge institutions and also the company’s interests. As a BD person, how do you deal with this?
