The Amsterdam Startup Launch cohort Fall ’24 is right around the corner! We kick off on October 2nd and wrap up on January 15th with the Final Day. Throughout the eleven interactive sessions of the idea-to-business plan track, all aspects of the business model canvas are covered. Under the guidance of professionals from Roland Berger, you’ll work on your business plan. Additionally, each session will feature an experienced entrepreneur sharing their story and answering questions!
This marks the fifth edition of the Amsterdam Startup Launch. Based on the successful pre-startup program that Roland Berger has been (co-)organizing at the TU Delft for years, it has now become a great success in Amsterdam as well. Over forty startups have participated in previous cohorts. The sessions take place on Wednesday afternoons. We start at 2:00 PM and finish at 5:00 PM, followed by an opportunity to wind down the day in an informal setting with drinks. Examples of session topics include customer validation, proposition development, marketing, finance, and team composition. Moreover, experts from Van Doorne will assist you with IP issues! Entry Requirements
All you need is an idea, a team (minimum of two people), motivation, and a connection to the Vrije Universiteit. That’s it. Experience has shown that not only the quality of your idea is a success factor, but also the dedication and motivation of the team, as well as the ability to adapt your business concept with the acquired knowledge and tools. Attendance at the sessions is mandatory.
Final Day and ASL Fall ’24 cohort
After all the hard work, you’ll be well-prepared for the Final Day, where you’ll have three minutes to present your startup idea to an audience consisting of VU StartHub mentors and the Amsterdam entrepreneurial ecosystem, among others. It’s always a joy to see the progress made by the participants during the program. Additionally, during the final, you’ll have the chance to win prize money and a coffee meeting with a jury member!
