How to fund your idea – from research grants to collaborating with companies
You have an idea for a research project or an innovative idea for a product/ service you want to develop but in both cases no money lying around to explore it. In this workshop you will learn about grants and funds for financing your research projects or entrepreneurial endeavors. Also other forms of financing will be covered like crowdfunding and funding to support your efforts towards a collaboration with a company.

Inspiration and insight in available national and EU grants, Proof of Concept funding and other financing options.

The breakfast workshop is open to researchers from Amsterdam UMC, HvA, UvA, VU, the NWO Institutes and KNAW.

About the breakfast workshops
The breakfast workshops cover various topics concerning sharing knowledge and thus creating impact in society. The workshops helps you to explore the possibilities of valorisation, knowledge transfer and entrepreneurship.
To get you started right away the workshops are highly interactive, information dense and practical: you can put it to use immediately.
The workshops are developed by IXA, the joint knowledge transfer office of HvA, UvA, VU and Amsterdam UMC. They are open to researchers from these universities and for colleagues from the KNAW and NWO Institutes.
Each institution has its own dedicated IXA team that offers researchers and PhD’s support in a broad sense: from starting new collaborations with outside parties, applying for research funding and target financing options to supporting the start of your own company.
