When introducing your idea to society, you may discover that you need to improve certain skills. That is why IXA organises a number of workshops, courses, webinars, seminars and much more. These enable researchers to explore activities that enhance the valorisation of research, develop their proficiency in specific valorisation–related topics, and gain essential entrepreneurship skills.
The Amsterdam Science & Innovation Award (AmSIA) is the Amsterdam competition for innovative ideas with true economic and/or societal impact. The award puts a spotlight on valuable ideas that are based on scientific and practice-based research. Since its launch, the award has generated more than 400 innovative, bright and applicable ideas. Many of these have resulted in concrete applications, and some even laid the foundation for new businesses.
Preparations for the Amsterdam Science & Innovation Award 2021 are in full swing. See the website for more details.
