Relive the inspiring finale of the Amsterdam Science & Innovation Awards 2025, held at the iconic NEMO Science Museum in Amsterdam. The event brought together nine visionary finalists who pitched their groundbreaking innovations in front of a live audience, competing for one of three prestigious Innovation Awards.
This year’s winners were Readler, a revolutionary tool for speech therapy in children, LightUp, a pill-sized camera designed for the early detection of esophageal cancer, and BOR-LYTE, an environmentally friendly borate electrolyte. Each of these winners was awarded €10,000 to further develop their ideas and bring them closer to real-world application.
In addition to the Innovation Awards, the event also celebrated the recipients of the Impact Award 2025—Erik Sistermans, Joyeeta Gupta, Tessa Roseboom, and Jaap Seidell—honoring their exceptional contributions to society through research.
