About the AmSIA
The Amsterdam Science & Innovation Award (AmSIA) is the Amsterdam competition for innovative ideas. Since its launch, the AmSIA served as jumping board to over 700 researchers and their impactful projects. Some of the ideas have since become actual products or inspired real-world change in other ways.
Podium for Innovation and Impact
Each edition, the AmSIA celebrates Amsterdam researchers by two types of awards, the Innovation Award and the Impact Award. The Innovation Award is awarded to the best innovative research-based ideas that contribute to a better world. The Impact Award is an achievement award for Amsterdam researchers who have created meaningful impact to society with their research projects and innovations.
