At Lumeniris Johannes de Boer and Anouk Post (both from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam) are developing a pill-sized camera on a string, that patients can swallow without sedation. They are developing this for the early detection of esophageal cancer, improving health care and saving people’s lives! They founded a start-up to get this product to market.
