Creating impact with research
Do you have an idea – based on your research – that could benefit people, companies, other organisations or society as a whole? Do not hesitate to contact us, even if your idea is still at an early stage and your thoughts and plans are not yet concrete.

Valorisation process
Your research could make a difference for tomorrow’s society. IXA is here to support you in that endeavour. Even at an early stage, when your plans are not yet concrete, we’re here for you. We can offer help at every step of the way in the valorisation process. You can expect us to ask questions such as what application possibilities do you see for your research? What problems will it solve? What positive impact will it create on society? Who can you collaborate with to take your research further towards an application? Will you set up your own company or would you rather work together with a business partner? Which company or organisation would be a good match? Contact us, make an appointment and we will help you getting started.
Valorisation = tailor made
There is no standard approach to valorisation. Every research or innovation requires its own tailor-made valorisation strategy. Contact IXA and we’ll help you. For example, by establishing the first steps towards value creation of your research, by making sure we protect knowledge and intellectual property (IP) or by writing an impact– or business plan. Our extensive network of companies and organisations can also be of great value here. Where to start? Get in touch with us.

Funding from own institutions
In addition to EU subsidies and national grants, your own university has several funds available. IXA manages and implements these funds. These funds can finance the conceptualisation and validation of research-based ideas into an initial concept or business plan for a company (non-profit or for-profit). In doing so, we stimulate impact and valorisation with research results at our own affiliated institutions.
“Stick to your own idea and follow your own path.”
