Faculty of Impact fellowships open again: turning research to business or social impact
Applications are now open for Faculty of Impact: a full-time, salaried two-year fellowship for researchers at Dutch public research institutions who want to turn breakthrough research into a high-impact business or non-profit. No finished business plan or entrepreneurial experience is required. Are you ready to explore the potential to make a real difference?
What is Faculty of Impact
Faculty of Impact is a full-time, salaried fellowship that helps you turn breakthrough research into a high-impact business or non-profit. You’ll build something that makes a real difference. Some fellows arrive with a clear plan. Others start with an idea. Both are welcome.
And if things don’t work out, returning to academia remains a viable path. There’s many fellows keep strong ties with their institutions.
Here’s what fellows receive:
- A two-year salary, so you can commit fully
- A world-class entrepreneurship program covering business, finance, marketing, customer discovery, and team building
- Dedicated mentors to guide you through new challenges
- A strong community of fellows on the same journey
Who can apply?
Faculty of Impact is open to researchers who:
- Work at a Dutch public research institution, such as a university, university of applied sciences, academic hospital (UMC), or research institute (e.g. TNO or Deltares)
- Have research with clear potential for societal impact
- Are willing to commit full-time for two years to developing that potential
