TTT-AI is your first step towards an AI start-up
TTT-AI is short for Thematic Technology Transfer, a collaborative alliance of Dutch universities and academic medical centers. It aims to drive the transformation of academic research into new ventures and innovative applications. With the vouchers TTT-AI supports early‑stage validation of a potential startup by funding activities such as assessing commercial feasibility, building a demo, conducting market analyses, or carrying out customer validation. You are free to choose whether to invest your own time or bring in external expertise.
What kind of projects are eligible?
To ensure that the voucher is used for promising AI-innovations with genuine market potential, projects must meet several criteria:
- The proposed startup idea should be rooted in AI technology.
- Eligible initiatives should have already reached TRL 3, the stage at which an experimental proof of concept has been demonstrated.
- The innovation must originate from research, not from educational assignments or classroom projects.
