New investment will bring InspectT’s advanced spectrometry to more innovators

InspectT is developing an innovation called Optical-DOSY, a technology that enables simultaneous measurement of molecular structure and size. Its applications span (bio)pharma, life sciences, and materials science—fields where fast and reliable characterization of proteins, polymers, and small molecules can shorten development cycles and reduce costs. This is particularly appealing for smaller laboratories and start-ups. The recently awarded convertible loan of €350,000 from the Innovation Fund Noord-Holland will support this development.

Giulia Giubertoni, Co-Founder and CEO of InspectT, explains:

“With Optical-DOSY, we’re adding size sensitivity to the optical spectrometers that many labs already use. By developing a dedicated flow cell, we ensure easy integration and reproducible results—making molecular size analysis faster and more accessible.”

Sander Woutersen, Co-Founder and CSO of InspectT, adds:

“Optical-DOSY is a new way to characterize complex samples, from proteins to polymers and nanoparticles. What’s great is that it works with any type of optical spectrometer—UV/Vis, infrared, or Raman—so users can choose what best fits their specific sample.”
